Why this age matters

Creating the foundation of learning

During the first year, every purposeful movement gives the brain new information. Gentle work for the neck, shoulders, back and core helps babies organise their bodies for grasping, rolling, sitting and crawling—always at their own pace.

Body + brain together

The developmental focus for this age

The original program framework connects sensory processing, reflexes, language and motor development. The emphasis changes as children grow.

Four connected outcomes

Gymnastics is only the beginning

Every activity has a physical purpose and a wider developmental purpose. The goal is confident progress that children can carry into everyday life.

01

Five-sense discovery

Songs, textures, colours and movement invite babies to hear, see, touch and respond.

02

Body awareness

Supported rocking, rolling and weight-bearing introduce vestibular and proprioceptive input.

03

Core foundations

Age-right positions strengthen the muscles that prepare baby for independent movement.

04

Parent confidence

Caregivers learn playful ways to support developmental milestones at home.

A purposeful rhythm

A normal class, step by step

Familiar structure helps children feel secure, while new weekly themes and skill progressions keep curiosity alive.

Weekly class approach

A 45-minute parent-and-baby class with a new developmental theme each week

Before your first visit

Questions parents often ask

Does my baby need to crawl first?

No. Activities are adapted for each baby’s current stage, from early floor play to emerging crawling.

What should baby wear?

Comfortable clothes that allow free movement are best. Your branch can confirm its current footwear policy.

What if baby needs a break?

That is completely normal. You can pause, comfort, feed or observe, then rejoin when baby is ready.
